Empowering women, igniting passion
The Harrisburg Havoc was created to provide women athletes with the opportunity to compete at the highest level while fostering a safe and supportive environment. Our team is a place where women can build confidence, develop leadership, form lifelong friendships, and grow a true sense of sisterhood both on and off the field. We are committed not only to excelling in football but also to giving back to the community through mentorship, outreach, and community engagement. Our mission is to grow women’s football, inspire the next generation, and create a lasting impact that goes beyond the game.

Our spirit, our strength
The Harrisburg Havoc stands for strength, resilience, and unity. Our team spirit is built on empowering each athlete to give their best while supporting their teammates — creating a culture of trust, dedication, and unstoppable energy. We value hard work, respect, and integrity both on and off the field, and we take pride in representing Harrisburg with heart and determination.

Beyond the game: Our unique appeal
What makes the Havoc unique and exciting for new fans is our combination of high-level athleticism and authentic connection. Every game is full of intensity, skill, and action, but it’s also about the camaraderie, passion, and fun that our players bring. Fans become part of a movement — supporting women athletes, cheering for incredible plays, and experiencing the thrill of football with a team that truly embodies community, empowerment, and sisterhood.

The WFA
The Women’s Football Alliance is the largest, longest-running, and most competitive women’s tackle football league in the world. Since opening its doors in 2009, the WFA has created opportunities for female athletes across the United States to compete at a high level while continuing to grow the sport and increase national exposure for women’s football. Through a forward-thinking model built on corporate sponsorships and reinvestment into teams and players, the league has helped expand women’s tackle football nationwide while providing honors such as All-American recognition, playoff travel support, championship rings, and nationally televised championship games on networks like ESPN. The league has also broken major barriers for women in football, including hosting championship games in iconic venues like Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium, home of the Pro Football Hall of Fame. We are incredibly proud to be part of the Women’s Football Alliance and to represent our community in a league that continues to elevate the game, create opportunities for athletes, and inspire the next generation of women in football.
"The Havoc isn't just a team; it's a force for good in Harrisburg. Supporting them means investing in strong women and a thriving community."
